Chris Kroger: BS Phys Ed, CPT, CES, CMT

 

My name is Chris Kroger - I am the owner and founder of Barefoot Fitness. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Education from San Diego Christian College.  I also hold mulitiple certifications in the health and fitness industry: I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT) I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Excercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) I am also a Certified Fitness Nurtrition and Lifestyle Fitness Coach and  a Weight Loss Specialist certified through the National Excercise and Sports Trainer Association (NESTA)  I am also a graduate of the CORE Institute of Massage Therapy  with advanced training in Sports Massage Therapy and I hold a National Certification in Massage Therapy, certified through  the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. (NCBTMB)  I also carry full liability insurance, I have never had to use it but I want you to know I consider the well being of my clients a top priority!

 

Barefoot Fitness is a unique fitness program that focuses on the whole person.  Barefoot does not necessarily mean we work out barefoot but refers to a belief that I came to while personally battling cancer, I learned during my battle with cancer just what the bare essentials are to being fit not just physically but mentally, spiritually and emotionally.  Barefoot Fitness is a "Lifestyle" not just an excercise program, it is a sifting through the unnecessary to find what really matters. when it comes to being healthy! We want to help you achieving your health and fitness and life goals.

Myself and the other trainers at Barefoot Fitness offer personal health and fitness training on the Island of Oahu (see Trainer links for information about Barefoot Fitness Ohio)  We train clients at local fitness clubs, or we are available to do personal in home training and we run group fitness Boot Camps in local parks throughout the island of Oahu and the Columbus Ohio area,  Our programs range from total body makeovers, to strength training, to workouts designed for those with special health and nutrition needs such as those dealing with the effects of cancer and diabetes!  If you have a health and fitness goal we would love the opportunity to help motivate and train you to achieve that goal. 

 

Your personal health and fitness trainer will develop a program customized specifically for you.  Each workout will be designed to target your "trouble spots or focus areas". Each workout will bring you one step closer to your health and fitness goals!
